Anyone that has missed the deadline to register to vote and lives within the city limits of Aurora
in the counties of Kane, Kendall and Will, may choose grace period registration, starting the
27th day through the 7th day prior to the election.
Please be aware if you choose to register or update your registration during the grace period
it can only be done in our office and you must cast your ballot at that time.
Please feel free to contact our office with any questions @ 630-897-4030.
Voter ID Cards
New Voter ID Cards for current Registered Voters are mailed in the fall of every odd year.
Upon completion of registration your Voter ID Card will be mailed to you within one to two weeks.
If you have lost your Voter ID Card please come to our office to request a new one. You will be
asked to show proof of identification so be sure to bring your current/valid photo ID.
If your card is returned to our office by the post office for any reason we will attempt to send you
a notice. If we do not here from you within 30 days your voter registration will be placed in our
inactive file.
